GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
It is the customers’ responsibility to read the policy and decide if they wish to make a purchase from Parkland Parish Quilt Co.
Shipping rates are estimates on your order. We ship United States Postal Service Flat Rate Priority for both US and International orders. Online orders will be charged actual postage costs to send packages using the flat rate priority mail boxes and envelopes. Each order will be charged a $2.00 handling fee. Orders under $50.00 are not insured unless requested. Orders of $50.00 or more will be insured and charged to the customer. Customers do have the option to insure or not to insure their shipment. Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost items in the mail. US Shipping Policy We have a shipping rate of $4.90 uninsured for US orders under $50.00. Orders that exceed $100.00 will be shipped for free. The order must fit into a flat rate envelope provided by the United States Post Office. Additional charges may apply if your order exceeds weight and size limitations of the Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope or Flat Rate Boxes. Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope………….….. $4.90 Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box ………….….$4.95 Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box………… $10.70 Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box…………….. $14.50 If the order does not fit into the flat rate envelope, your shipment will be packaged into a flat rate box and the shipping charge will be adjusted. Flat Rate Envelopes generally hold 5 to 6 yards of cotton fabric or 3 to 4 yards of flannel fabric depending on the cuts. (Example: 1 yard cuts fold differently than a 5 yard cut). Anything over 6 yards will end up being shipped in a Flat Rate Box and your shipping will be adjusted. Flat Rate Boxes will generally hold 12 to 20 yards depending on cotton versus flannel and the size of the cuts. US Shipping Insurance Rates Fee (Insurance coverage) $1.75 ……………………………….$0.01 to $50 $2.25………………………………..$50.01 to $100 $2.75………………………………..$100.01 to $200 $4.70………………………………..$200.01 to $300 $5.70………………………………..$300.01 to $400 $6.70………………………………..$400.01 to $500 $7.70………………………………..$500.01 to $600 Orders over $600 will be charged the insurance rates as billed by the United States Postal Service Shipping occurs Monday through Friday. We may temporarily delay shipping during certain holidays when the store is closed. Parkland Parish Quilt Co. will ship your package within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please Note: We process all online orders at the beginning of each business day. If your order is received after 4pm on Friday, we will not get to your order until Monday morning. Pick Up For Local Customers If you would like to pick up your order at Parkland Parish Quilt Co. shipping charges will be refunded. All orders that are being picked up at the shop must be prepaid through PayPal. Please indicate a pick up in the extra instructions box during the PayPal checkout process. Shipping charges will be refunded once the order has been picked up from the shop. Most orders will be ready for pickup 48 hours after the order has been placed. Items that have not been picked up within two weeks will be shipped to the customer and the shipping charges will apply. Payment Methods Payment to the Parkland Parish Quilt Co. online store will be made through the PayPal system. This will allow our customers the flexibility of using credit cards or debits from bank accounts. Web Exclusive & Specials Policy Items in the fabrics category are available through the internet only. These items WILL NOT be available at the shop so customers are encouraged to shop our online store for these items. Kit Policy If you are purchasing a kit, Parkland Parish Quilt Co. will make every effort to ensure that the original fabric shown in the shop sample is included, however we reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary. Return Policy We will not accept returns on cut yardage, books, patterns, and quilt kits or block of the month programs. If you have a problem, contact the shop at 253-531-4309.
